What is Geological Engineering? - Geological Engineering is an interdisciplinary profession focused on solving engineering problems that require an understanding of the natural environment. It’s distinguishing feature is that it builds on a foundation of engineering and risk management, and integrates knowledge of geology and the environment to provide a versatile set of skills required for the design of large infrastructure projects such as tunnels and dams, as well as for natural resource development and environmental protection.
